Dear Authors and Scholars,

The Suffolk Law Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy invites you to submit articles or essays for Vol. 29.2 to be published in the Spring of 2024. 

Submission Guidelines

The Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy is currently accepting articles from legal scholars and practitioners. Authors must be admitted to the bar and either be a practicing attorney or professor. We are seeking articles related to any issue of trial and appellate practice. We are ideally looking for submissions with a 2:1 footnote to text ratio and a minimum of 45 pages triple spaced (including footnotes). However, we are amendable to work throughout the editing process to meet these standards

Submission Deadlines

Please submit your article manuscript and curricula vitae through Scholastica or email by Friday January 19, 2024, 5:00 p.m. EST.  Publication offers will be distributed to authors via Scholastica on a rolling basis.

About the Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy

The Suffolk Journal of Trial and Appellate Advocacy is dedicated to providing practical and in-depth analyses of a variety of current legal issues relating to trial and appellate practice. Topics included in previous publications include employment law, constitutional law, criminal procedure, intellectual property, and family law. However, our journal accepts a broad range of topics so long as it is rooted in trial and appellate practice.
