Dear Contributors:

UNT Dallas Law Review invites you to submit submissions for our upcoming volume to be released in two issues throughout the Fall of 2021 and Spring of 2022. We are a Texas-based law review organization. We are an entirely student-run organization focused on providing cogent and concise publications that keep those in the legal practice, and those interested in contemporary changes in the legal environment, apprised of the practical application of the law in various legal fields. Various professors, attorneys, and judges (federal and state) contribute and read our articles. The Dallas, Texas legal community pays close attention to our journal as we are located in the heart of Downtown Dallas.

Our journal is unique as we do not require the typical length that most journals require, while also encouraging our contributors to choose the subject of the article. This allows contributors to dive into areas that are interesting to him or her or that have particular concerns for that field of law. Existing drafts of articles are welcome!

Ultimately, any topic decisions would be left primarily up to you, but anything you can think of that would be of particular interest to practicing attorneys would be a fantastic contribution. Currently, the first draft would not be due until August 25th, 2021. If you would be more interested in contributing to our Spring edition, the due date for that would be tentatively set for January 9, 2021

Please send submissions through Scholasica. Submissions should include your manuscript, CV/Resume, and any other attachments. We would appreciate both PDF and Word copies of all documents. If you have any questions, concerns, or would prefer to email your submissions, you can email desireewills@my.untdallas.edu or homyrahomayoun@my.untdallas.edu. Finally, if you would like to see what our content generally looks like, our journal is posted online at On The Cusp | (untdallas.edu)

We look forward to reviewing your submissions!

Sincerely,

Desiree Malone (Wills), Editor-in-Chief
