The Columbia Journal of Gender and Law is now accepting submissions through Scholastica on a rolling basis! The journal also accepts submissions via email at columbia.jgl.submissions@gmail.com.

The Columbia Journal of Gender and Law welcomes your writing. We publish two issues per year and encourage the submission of articles, essays, comments, book reviews, and letters. All pieces accepted for publication go through a collaborative editing process between Journal editors and the authors.

Generally, we feature the writing of noted scholars in feminist jurisprudence, including judges and law professors. Since we are an interdisciplinary journal of law, we also welcome articles about law from other academic disciplines.  Recent Columbia Journal of Gender and Law articles have examined the intersections between gender, law, and various other academic fields ranging from psychology to literature.

In a 2011 nationwide survey of specialty law journals conducted by Washington & Lee University Law School, the Columbia Journal of Gender and Law ranked as one of the top three journals devoted to gender and law.

The Notes section of Columbia Journal of Gender and Law is reserved for Columbia Law students only. Columbia Journal of Gender and Law does not consider submissions from other law students.
