Greetings IJSPT Readers, Authors, and Reviewers,
Welcome to the second issue of the “new” International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy, (V16N2) published by The North American Sports Medicine Institute. The staff at IJSPT are grateful for the support of all of our generous sponsors, as well as the positive comments, encouragement and assistance of those who engage with and utilize the journal. We continue to present timely, clinically relevant, high quality, peer-reviewed original research, literature review, clinical commentary, and in this issue, our second “IFSPT International Perspective” as well as our second “Clinical Viewpoint”. These two new features will be regular additions to the IJSPT, and we look forward to sharing them with you.
The editorial, managing, and production teams are excited for the future of IJSPT. Please make sure to visit our new website (www.ijspt.org) and to support our generous sponsors. We are continuing to work toward “rolling publishing” (online first) of articles to enhance publication efficiency and timeliness, with the quality and clinical relevance you have come to expect from IJSPT.
Please consider submitting your scholarly work to IJSPT via Scholastica (the new submission system), and join us in the dissemination of excellent science. We are currently soliciting manuscript reviewers to assist in the all-important step of peer review. You can give back to your profession in this important mechanism, and we will gladly offer training and review tips! Please contact Ashley Campbell, Managing Editor (acampbell@ijspt.org) if you are interested in joining the international team of reviewers.
Stay tuned for enhanced media content later in 2021, and sign up to receive the journal in your inbox first! Sign up here https://nasmi.org/ijspt-sign-up-2021-v16-issue/.
We hope you enjoy the shared evidence, and again, thank you for your support!
