The Arizona Journal of Environmental Law & Policy is currently seeking articles for our Spring 2025 issues. Articles will be accepted on a rolling basis. Additionally, if you are aware of student work that may be a good fit for publication, please forward this notice and encourage your students to submit their work to us.

The Arizona Journal of Environmental Law & Policy (AJELP) is a prominent law journal in the field of environmental law. Our goal is to bridge the gap between environmental science, law, and policy with a special focus on social justice and Indigenous Peoples’ law and policy. With that goal in mind, we will be accepting articles on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to:

  • Environmental law
  • Intersections between environmental law and other fields (e.g., engineering, technology, sustainability, corporate law, tax law)
  • Environmental policy
  • Resource management
  • Natural resource law
  • Energy law
  • Water law
  • Administrative law
  • Social justice, legal policy, and the environment
  • Indigenous Peoples’ law: We especially encourage submissions exploring the intersection of Indigenous legal frameworks and environmental policy, including topics such as property, land stewardship, and traditional ecological knowledge.

Please submit all articles to Scholastica or email them directly to articles@ajelp.com. We do not have a strict word limit, but submissions should be under 60 pages and double-spaced.

Sincerely,

The AJELP Editorial Board, 2024-2025
